Update: Vodafone Qatar announced that they had some issues with their Data network that affected many other devices including the legacy BlackBerry devices not only BlackBerry 10. They have done maintenance today morning and both of them and us can confirm the issue is now resolved.
Do you use Vodafone Qatar for your BlackBerry Z10? Does your device keep losing the BlackBerry logo beside the H+/3G/E stopping your BlackBerry Messenger from working? Does the coverage sometimes drop to h/3g/e? Well. Unfortunately that’s a known issue with Vodafone.
Today after communicating with Vodafone they said that many have reported such issues, some others reported that they are not able to access the BlackBerry Messenger and other BlackBerry Services at all. Until yesterday Vodafone Qatar had no fix for this issue.
Vodafone Qatar started a maintenance to their network throughout Qatar from 12AM till today morning at about 9AM. The maintenance was on their Data network. During the maintenance no one was able to get access to the Internet whether they were using an old BlackBerry, a BlackBerry Z10 or any other device.
We still didn’t communicate with Vodafone asking them if this maintenance was done to solve the issues with the BlackBerry Z10 but since the maintenance our BlackBerry Z10 is now stable.
